I remember when I first started going into makeup, people used to tell me not to do a smokey eye look because number 1; I had hooded lids, hence it would look like I got punched, OR I would look like a panda for the rest of the day 😶🐼

Tbh I used to believe this for the longest time, and the standard smokey eye thus became something I would avoid to do if I could way back when. But over time, the more I practiced with makeup, the more I realised that this wasn’t so and you can create any look as a matter of fact the way that you would want it❤️✌🏼

So lesson learnt, don’t always let others intimidate you into thinking you are unable to do or achieve something, because in this case for me, makeup is art and it is a form of expression that is limitless. So do what you want to do, create what you want to create and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise 👏🏼👍🏼
